It's perfectly clear who the lucky girl is.
Just as long as you paid very close attention to both the first book in the series and this story. That's the thing about my writing. I have a tendency to pick out rarely noticed details and base a story around it.

Author's Response: It's played out. It was a oneshot. :3 It died. Meaning it won't go any farther. I'm starting a new story, however, called "How to Save a Life" and it's got lots of notes and things and will be better planned.
